A Direct Credit Home Loans offset account works like a transaction account linked to your home loan.

What is an Offset Facility?
Your offset facility is a limited transactional sub-account
linked to your home loan. Any balance held in this sub-account helps reduce the interest charged on your loan by
offsetting your loan balance for daily interest calculations.

Offset Account Features

How does it work?

Funds deposited into this account immediately reduce your outstanding loan balance for interest calculations. For example, if you owe $500,000 and have $50,000 in your offset, you only pay interest on $450,000

Are there limitations on my Offset Account ?

Yes your Offset account does have some limitations compared to a standard bank transactional account.

I have been dealing with Direct Credit for the last 5 years this being my 2nd mortgage through them. The staff have always been exemplary in their professionalism but also treat you like they would family which is how I am privileged to feel. I have had the pleasure of having Puawai Herewini as my bank manager along with Katie and Tammy the client services manager and team. This last loan was a separation settlement and I honestly don't know what I would've done without them. With all of the previous stresses of the last couple of years and work changes I left everything thing quite late and the team just batted together and made it happen in such a short time frame, I am so very grateful.
The support often on a daily basis I have received is well above their designated job descriptions as I said feel like part if the Direct Credit family everyone has been absolutely fantastic always going above and beyond helping me through this long drawn out situation. Again I can't thank you all enough!!! Derek you have the dream team working for you, they have yet again smashed it out of the ball park. Without any doubt these guys are the Home Loan 'A TEAM'. I had a really bad experience with Mortgage Choice which resulted in my finance falling over at the last stage due to the broker I was using.

These guys are absolutely amazing! I would almost pay higher interest rates to be with these guys, almost! Fortunately, though, they are able to achieve the best outcomes for their clients. They work so hard to do this. I am so impressed!
